George Michael & Astrud Gilberto Desafinado

This is such a classic taken from the 1996 Red Hot + Rio album, tribute to Antonio Carlos Jobim. This is one of the greatest duets ever and a must have album for Bossa Nova lovers.

Ed's Top 20 22-28 Feb 2010

This is the update of the week. My latest most played list.

Lydia is back but really can't wait for a brand new full album from her and not another greatest hits.

C.N. Blue has this really catchy tune especially the chorus. It will make you humm to it.

Tae's ballad is still so lovely and not to miss the new Big Bang song with Vic on solo. This has to be the 2nd Big Bang song that got to me after My Heaven.

Peck has 2 new songs from his yet to be released 3rd album and Alchohol is slightly korean influ song.

2 new re-entries from 9th Street taken from the soundtrack You're So Beautiful and K. Will, Love They Can't.

Have fun:P

Jason Mraz Try Try Try

No official statement or information on where this song came from but I think it's a really cool, cheerful track from Jason. Jason still rocks.

Wheesung Insomnia

I was such a big fan of this version. It's even better then the original Craig Davids' version. What do ya think?

Techin (Te-Chin) RUK KUN TAE MUN NGAO

Techin (Tae-Chin) was one of the hottest new star of 2009. His debut album was so fantastic and my fave song would have to be this. Here's a snippet.

Bie The Star Kwam Trong Jum Nai Lom Hai Jai

Bie the Star is the biggest star in Thailand at the moment. This track was found in Bie's 2009 best seller album Hug Bie. This has to be my fave track in the album. Here's a snippet of the song which I used as my message tone.

Stamp Hear The Wind

Khwam Khit (Hear The Wind Sing) was one of the biggest hit in Thailand last year and it was taken from the blockbuster Thai movie A Moment In June. Very beautiful song. Here's the sample version.

Deborah Cox Love Is Not Made In Words

Just had to introduce this track from Deborah cox. It's from her 2009 released The Promise. Though only 1 official single released, Beautiful U R, always felt that this should have been the 1st single. The tune, lyrics, so addictively done. Someone should remix this track. It will be a huge hit.

Cathy Dennis' early works for Dannii Minogue

Love's On Every Corner was the first ever Cathy's penned track for another artist taken from Dannii's second album Get Into You which happens to have a re-issue double CD version last year. It's got some catchy parts but it wasnt a big hit. Cathy Dennis and Juliet Roberts were on backing vocals. Dannii was recommended by Simon Cowell to take over Paula Abdul as the American Idol Judge but nothing got firmed up but as you all knows, Ellen's in the new family.
Added the medley from Dannii's greatest hits The Hits & Beyond.
For Dannii's fan, the Video Collection DVD released in 2007 is a must grab, it's a collection of all Dannii's Videos.
FYI, Dannii's Don't Wanna Lose This Groove, from Neon Nights, contains sample of Madonna's Into The Groove, which was the first ever Madonna track to be officially released. It consist of Madonna on backing vocals.

Wheesung Trickling

This was the second song this year that I really got hooked on after Cathy Dennis Suicide. Trickling has a very catchy chorus and it's brillant. Taken from his latest album Vocolate. It's my current ringtone.

Princess of R&B Lydia from Thailand

Lydia is no stranger in the Thai music industry. She's one of the best and most well known female artist. I fell in love with Lydia's vocal in 2005 with her self titled debut album which featured the beautiful ballad "Warng Laew Chuay Toe Glub". The english version "Don't Leave Me This Way" was so beautifully done too. The problem with Love Celebrate, her latest album, is yet another Greatest Hits, 3 in a row.... what the...??? It started off with All My Heart: Greatest Hits then Fabulous Lydia: Greatest Hits and now Love Celebrate. For first timer getting the album, it will be great but I've got all her albums, it's like....??? The advantage, 2 new tracks.
Therefore, let me introdue you to her 1st Single,
WARNG LAEW CHUAY TOE GLUB
and her latest, sure to be a big hit,
KOR KWAM NAI JAI

Tae Witsaratch Call Me Back

This is a new song from Tae which I believed to be from his soon to be release second album taken only from Grammy New Release Vol. 6. Very easy listening ballad which I love and love to share it to all music lovers. Enjoy.

KCM One Day 하루가

This is my current fave song for the past weeks. How it all came about was when I was watching Music Bank, then there was this guy singing and playing the piano. Very emo but the voice was so emotionally beautiful. Here's my message tone.

Chynna & Vaughan Now I Know Your Love

Remember Chynna? From Wilson Phillips, which was the biggest girl group in the early 90's. She's back teaming up with Vaughan. Now I Know Your Love was the first song that hitted me after getting the album. Pretty diff from her debut solo album "Naked & Sacred" back in 95. Great album which didn't make the marks. Then Faith Hill did a cover Just To Hear You Say You Love Me and of course there was a remake of the title track Naked & Sacred.

Cathy Dennis In The Mix

I happened to find this megamix by accident, which is fantastic. Most of the hits from her debut album "Move To This".
Well just FYI, Cathy Dennis' the First British Female Artist to hit 4 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 (Just Another Dream, Touch Me (All Night Long), Too Many Walls & C'mon & Get My Love).
More Info, Cathy Dennis wrote the following BIG HITS:
1) Can't Get You Out Of My Head - Kylie Minogue
2) Toxic - Britney Spears
3) Never Had A Dream Come True - S Club 7
4) My Sweet LA Ex - Rachel Stevens
5) I Kissed A Girl - Katty Perry
and the list goes on....
In The Mix

Law & Order SVU

Well I know this isn't music related but just had to include this. Finally completed my DVDs collection on Law & Order SVU to season 10. My fave drama. I could just go on and on watching the re-runs. In SG, DVDs released stopped at season 3. I was so hooked on the show that I bought season 4-7 when I was in Australia and ordered online season 8-10 cos there was a promo, freight free. HMV's the only place that carries season 4-7 but the price is way too steep, and I managed to get my collection at 60% lesser then HMV.

Kim Wilde

Kim Wilde was like another of my fave female vocalist in the 90's especially the album "Now and Forever". The album didn't kicked off that well but 2 tracks which I thought would have been released as singles were "You're All I Wanna Do" & "Hypnotise".
Love the photography works of the album which I did some printmaking with the images during my print making class.
You're All I Wanna Do
Hypnotise
If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman Cover written by Bee Gees, a 90's Classic)

Cathy Dennis

I have always been a big fan of Cathy Dennis and the song "SUICIDE" was left out of Rihanna's Rated R album. Such a waste cos it's such a great track.

Ed's Top 20 (15-21 Feb 2010)

Well, to start off my first blog ever, I've been a music freak for as long as ever. Ask all my friends, I'm like the walking music dictionary. LOL.
Thought that I will kick start with my very own fave songs by charting it.
Have fun with my music.
