Surpreme Team feat. Brian (FTTS)

This is a new release from the group Surpreme Team, who has a great mixed of Old Skool Style + Hip Hop. This track feat Brian as a guest. Love the way they mixed it up.

Sally Yeh 愛上一個不回家的人

This was a cover done by Sally, originally by Sandy. This is a really great remake, very diff from the original, giving it a chill/world feel. Great for a chill-out album.

Cathy Dennis DEMOS

Here's some demos from Cathy. Of course the worldwide hit by Britney and the chart topper from S Club Rachel Stevens.

Dina Carroll Love Songs

Dina Carroll has lotsa great tracks. This selection includes her biggest hits from her debut album to her last released. The orginal version of All I Ask was suppose to be a duet version with Ronan Keating whom wrote the song. You Were Meant For Me was only released in Japan as a bonus track on the album Only Human. Love her cover of Almaz, originally by Randy Crawford. The acoustic version of I Don't Want To Talk About It got quite some airplay back in 94 in UK (Rod Steward's track). The track was recorded live. A very rare remix of So Close (Groove Mix) was released in Amercia only as a promo. Son Of A Preacher Man was officially a single but was pulled off, due to.... during the time of almost release, Dusty Springfield just passed on. Well it would have been a great tribute single then. Heaven Sent feats Whitney's mom Cissy on backing vocals.

Popetorn Soonthornyanakij Prode Tah Ma Song Sarn

Popetorn Soonthornyanakij aka Two, was one of the biggest new artist last year in Thailand, hitting big with this No. 1 track Prode Yah Ma Song Sarn (Please don't sympathize). I almost forgot about this song until  Dan's concert,  he was one of the guest star.

Dan Worrawech Danuwong Kor Rong & Kae Ter

Dan Worrawech started of in the popular boy band D2B, comprising of Dan, Beam & Big. After the tragic accident of Big (major car accident and unfortunately passed on a year a later), Dan & Beam released a few albums together until 2008, when both had their own solo projects. Kor Rong  (Request) & Kae Ter  (Only You) is taken from Dan's second solo released Blue under Sony Music.

The V Mixes Vanessa Williams

The V Mixes consist of Vanessa's remixes from her debut album The Right Stuff to the current The Real Thing. I just love Running Back To You, the song that got me into VW way back in 1990 and started my VW collection. The Right Stuff (UK Mix) is done no other then Norman Cooks AKA Fatboy Slim back in the late 80's. Running Back To You, The Comfort Zone, Freedom Dance & Work To Do are taken from the multi platinum abum The Comfort Zone. The Way That You Love was remixed by 20 Fingers, is taken from the platinum album The Sweetest Days. Happiness, the dance version by David Morales, which sample Nu Shooz's I Can't Wait is taken from the album Next, together with Who Were You Thinkin' 'Bout?. You Are Everything was a US Club Hit taken from the album Everlasting Love. The Real Thing, a recent club hit is taken from the album The Real Thing.

Cathy Dennis My Beating Heart

My Beating Heart was one of my fave track from Cathy's debut album Move To This. If only it was released as a single, it will probably be a hit. Miss Cathy "Pop Doctor" Dennis' new single Killer Love is due soon with the Sexcassette (Cathy's Band). In the meantime, she's working with Kylie and Britney on their new album due 2010.

Brandy Piano Man & Warm It Up

Piano Man and Warm It Up are tracks taken from Brandy's last released 'HUMAN". Sadly the album didnt do well though it was a great album with great tracks like Right Here (Departed) & Long Distance. Piano Man was the next track that caught me. I was so disappointed that in Singapore, it wasn't even available, except import version that cost a bomb. I managed to get a copy in Malaysia (original). lol. It's an album that's worth the purchase. Love her vocals since her self titled album back in 94.

Bananarama The Sound of Silence

The Sound Of Silence is added as a bonus track from their latest album VIVA released last year. Bananarama was the hottest girl band of the 80's with tons of retro hits. This is a cover from Simon and Garfunkel, which I thought is a pretty interesting version. Never thought that they would be covering this track. Some remixes could spike it up.

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Singto The Star was the winner of The Star 5. I think that the remix version of Hua Koi is really interesting and great. After having listened the remix version first, i dun enjoy the original. Thai Disco fans, is one of the must have track to blast.

Ging The Star - Kon Mai Chai Tum Arai Kor Pid Remixes

Ging the Star, another finalist from The Star 5. Kon Mai Chai Tum Arai Kor Pid's a beautiful ballad. The dance mix gives it a different feel.

Grand The Star Sakod Jai Remixes

Grand The Star was the finalist Top 10 from Thailand's The Star 5. Sakod Jai was a huge hit last year and boy it's catchy. Here's the original and remixed version. I personally prefer the original.

The Boy From Ipanema

This is one of the better remake, and an interesting version by Crystal Waters, better known for her hits Gypsy Woman, 100% Pure Love and currently, Destination Unknown. The Boy From Ipanema is taken from the album Red Hot + Rio, one of the best latin jazz album of all time.

Bette's Club Joint

Bette's Club Joint includes remixes of the classic hits (The Rose, Wind Beneath My Wings & To Deserve You) from the Divine Miss M.

Deborah Gibson Losin' Myself Remixes

Deborah or Debbie Gibson, was the hottest teenage sensation in the late 80's scoring lotsa Top 10 hits in America. Losin' Myself was taken from her forth album, Body Mind Soul, which was a major flop, partly from the innocent girl image to posing for Playboy. This was the first single from Body Mind Soul, which is a great track but failed to top the chart, hitting barely into the Top 80 of the Billboard chart but I still think this track is a great chill-out track. Love the vocal arrangements of the original version.

Golf + Mike Double A-Side

The hottest boy band from Thailand. Brothers Golf + Mike are well-known in Japan and Malaysia too. Double A-Side includes 2 new ballads Kaw Peang Jai Row Mee Gun & Mai Pid Chai Mia Tee Ruk Thur from the brothers.

Peck Mee Hua Jai Tae Mai Yark Ruk มีหัวใจแต่ไม่อยากรัก

Another new track from Peck. Boy does he looks weird nowadays. Mee Hua Jai Tae Mai Yark Ruk is a light hearted track. Easy listening but not at his best.

Ruj The Star She Decieved Me

The latest song released by Ruj. Ruj was the 1st runner from Thai Singing Contest The Star 4. Feat Vietrio on this track, which is the 2nd time they have done something together. Vietrio is like Bond but with a male violinist. Ruj debut album hit single Ploi Tua Ploi Jai was filmed in Singapore at the Singapore Flyer and Club Street. Enjoy She Decieved Me.

The Club Hits by Dina Carroll

Dina Carroll's no stranger to the clubs with tons of UK club hits starting with her first ever UK Top 10, It's Too Late (a Carole King cover, appeared as a guest vocalist by Quartz). It was then she was signed up and released her debut 'So Close' which spins off 7 Top 20 singles in the UK (Ain't No Man, Special Kind Of Love (with C + C Music Factory), So Close, This Time, Express, Don't Be A Stranger (biggest UK hit) and later included The Perfect Year from Sunset Boulevard. Though her second album Only Human went platinum in UK, unlike her debut which went on 5 x platinum, she did score her second biggest hit Escaping.  Mind Body & Soul was only released in Japan as a single but it was Livin' For The Weekend that scored well in the clubs. It was produced by David Morales. It was release as an offical single in France only three years later with brand new remixes. Her third album was shelfed, a greatest hits album was released instead. It did scored well in the clubs with the new tracks Without Love & Good To Me. The only club hit that wasn't in was Say You Love Me, which was suppose to be the third single from her third album.
