Ed's Top 20 - 7 to 13 June 2010

More movements this week and the new No.1 is Super Juniors' ultra catchy tune Bonamana. James is up 2 spots t No. 2 with It's About Time and Bie hangs on for the third week at No. 3. Kylie drops to No. 4 with her 2010 No. 1 hit All The Lovers.
4 new entries this week with Christina Aguilera at No. 10, the hot shot debut with Birds Of Prey, taken off her latest Bionic album. Birds Of Prey is available on the deluxe edition only. Such a waste as her first 2 single really didnt turn out to be hits though Not Myself Tonight is a great title but the tune's just missing some elements. The dance mixes were better. Birds of Prey is a little inbetween chill (chill remixed would be great with Indian Beats) and Electronic (dance mixes will make it massive). A little disappointed when Bionic didn't include the track Kimono Girls.

Second new entry come in at No. 13 with new comer Aarif with the title track from the acclaim movie Echoes of Rainbow which stars Simon Yen, Sandra Ng and Aarif. Great movie, very old school format but heart warming, something that has been missing in Asian movies for sometime.
At No. 17, SG Wannabe Lee Seok Hoon's solo debut kicks in and at No. 20, new group 8eight sets in with a rapper, a male vocalist and a female vocalist. The male vocalist has almost the same tone as K Will and I did thought that it was K.
Ok Dokie till next week, have fun.... cheerios

Ed's Top 20 (17-23 May)

Lotsa movement this week on Ed's Top 20 with 8 new entries.
Wan's back in the Top spot with No Time Left, after kicking himself off No.1 with The Truth. No Time Left spends a second week on the number 1 spot.
Moving up strongly is Tee's debut single Tarm Mai Aow Kum Torb at No. 2 and Ter lhork chun Chun lhork ter by Ruj the Star follows at No. 3.
The Hot Shot Debut of the week comes in no surprise by Kylie, with her latest offering All The Lovers at No. 5. Taken off her up-coming 11th album Aphrodite, due to be release in June. At No.9 comes in the second new entry by C.N. Blue, Shining Love, their latest released mini-album after the success of their full length Japanese album. At No. 10 is the latest release by K. Will with Miryo of Brown Eyed Girl. Super Junior's back with the follow up of another catchy tune Bonamana at No. 13. This is gonna be a big club hit for the Juniors after the success of Sorry Sorry.
At No. 16, the cast of Glee with the double a-side, And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going/The Boy Is Mine by Mercedes Jones. This has to be my fave from Glee and her vocals is really great. Will have to say the best of the Glee cast. At No. 18, another Korean catchy club hit My Ear Candy by Baek Ji Young feat. 2PM. Clubs in SG should play this track, it's gonna make everyone groove along. At No. 19, the second single off their latest release by B.O.Y (Blood On Youth), Beacuse Of You. and lastly, the new indie band from Thailand, Klear is at No. 20 with Brighter Day, a duet with Golf from Golf + Mike.
Till next week, Ed signing off.

Glee feat. Mercedes Jones - The Boy Is Mine Music Video

While I was watching the episode of Glee, I was laughing my ass off when they did The Boy Is Mine. It's very cheesy but it works and it's just as good as Brandy & Monica.
Mercedes is like my fave singer in the whole of Glee Cast and boy if she released an album, I'll be in line to get it. Her version of And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going is really fantastic
